Aunt Gladys' Broccoli Salad
- 2 heads broccoli
- 1 head cauliflower
- 10 slices Edwards' bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
- 2/3 cup raisins (soak for about 15 minutes in a little water and drain)
- 1/2 cup chopped onions
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoon vinegar
1. Great any time of the year.
Separate the broccoli and cauliflower into small florets. Add bacon pieces, raisins that have been drained and chopped onions. Mix mayonnaise, sugar and vinegar together and pour over vegetables. Set in refrigerator for at least 2 hours. This is best used the same day.
