After using these BBQ sauces at our family dinner table for years, I’ve learned one thing for sure: Like football teams at a tailgate party, everyone has a favorite. Our red Barbecue Sauce is tomato-puree based, spiced up with our secret blend of molasses, onion, apple cider and vinegar. Guests who do serious taste-testing at our backyard BBQ events call it “snappy,” but not hot.

Years ago, I created our Soppin’ Sauce after a trip to South Carolina, where folks like their BBQ sauces based on mustard instead of tomatoes. I do a lot of outdoor grilling and really enjoy this South Carolina-style sauce as a change of pace. You really can’t go wrong.
