Virginia Ham Biscuits
- 3/4 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons shortening
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup Edward's Virginia ground ham
1. Sift flour and baking powder. Mix with ham. Cut in shortening with pastry blender until all has the consistency of meal. Add milk, handling as little as possible. Pat out with hands or roll on sheet of waxed paper dusted with flour. Cut with biscuit cutter and bake in hot 425 degree oven until browned.
