1. With fingertips, mix ham, cheese, flour, butter and just enough water to make a stiff dough. Roll dough into little balls approximately 3/4 inch. Place on a lightly greased cookie sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 400° for 12 to 14 minutes or until lightly browned. Yields 20 to 24 puffs. Serve hot! These can be prepared ahead of time and frozen until ready to bake. Add a minute of cooking time if baking while still frozen.
