Sausage Pie
Ingredients
- 1 lb Edwards' sausage
- Milk (to cover mixture)
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon parsley
- 1/2 cup celery, diced
- 2 onions, sliced
- 4 cup potatoes, sliced and cooked
- Pastry for top and bottom crust
Directions
1. Line bottom of deep pie dish with pastry. If using Edwards Fresh Sausage Patties, chop the sausage into small pieces before frying. Cook sausage on top of stove until almost done. (Brown lightly.) In pie dish, alternate layers of sausage and potatoes. Add onion, celery and seasonings. Cover with milk and add top crust. Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees. Courtesy of: Cousin Anne Edwards
